Hi, I’m Joanna
I'm a passionate potter based in Poland. I make stoneware pottery, fired up to 1300 °C in a wood-fired kiln. Each piece is wheel thrown, and precisely finished with self-made glazes.

... began unexpectedly, in 2012, when I stumbled upon clay reclaiming. Little did I know that this accidental encounter would ignite a deep passion within me and led me on an incredible path of exploration and creativity.

Creating functional objects on pottery wheel, with simple yet elegant forms is where my true joy lies. From mugs and bowls to vases and plates, I strive to bring beauty and functionality together in harmony.

Majority of my creations are wood fired. There is a mesmerizing quality to witnessing the flames dance around the pottery, transforming it into a durable and captivating piece of art. The unpredictable nature of this firing technique adds a unique character to each creation, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

I also craft my own glazes to give my pottery its distinctive charm. Drawing inspiration from nature, I experiment with ashes, minerals, and other naturally occurring materials. This allows me to infuse my creations with earthy tones, subtle textures, and a connection to the world around us.
